Barcelona 'set stance on Jadon Sancho transfer' and other Manchester United rumours

Barcelona reportedly have no interest in ending Jadon Sancho's tumultuous Manchester United spell in January.

Sancho has been exiled from the first team since the beginning of September after a public fallout with Erik ten Hag. On social media, the former Borussia Dortmund man claimed he had been made a 'scapegoat' after United's boss criticised his training.

Since then, the winger has been banished from the first team and MEN Sport understands the Englishman is one of five players who will be allowed to leave in January if a suitable bid is submitted. However, Mundo Deportivo reports Barca will not be one of the clubs bidding for the 23-year-old.

It is claimed there is no interest from Xavi whatsoever in bringing Sancho on board. Some reports had claimed a swap deal could be negotiated with Raphinha heading to Old Trafford but this has also been quashed with it understood Barca see the former Leeds man as 'untouchable'.

Elsewhere, United have reportedly had an approach for Bayern Munich striker Mathys Tel rejected. The 18-year-old is a rising star in the Bundesliga champion's squad and has already bagged six goals in 18 appearances this season.

However, his opportunities are somewhat limited thanks to Harry Kane's impressive start to life in Germany. According to Sky Sports Deutschland reporter Florian Plettenberg, this led to United enquiring about the possibility of a loan move.

This has been rejected by Tel according to the report. The Frenchman is believed to be happy in Bavaria and wants to learn his trade from Kane. He is also hopeful of more minutes under Thomas Tuchel as this season progresses.
