Balogun injury, Igamane progress and Butland urged to stay at Rangers - Philippe Clement's Champions League address

Leon Balogun is doubtful for Rangers' Champions League second leg with Dynamo Kyiv due to injury - as boss Philippe Clement teased some changes from the draw in Poland.

Rangers host Dynamo at Hampden on Tuesday night after a battling 1-1 draw in Poland and victory will send them through to the playoff round - setting up a tie against either FC Twente or RB Salzburg. They may well have to do it without Balogun though, the big centre-back taking a knock after he featured from the bench against Motherwell on Saturday and may struggle to start at Hampden on Tuesday night.

Asked for an update on the squad, Clement said: "We have one doubt for tomorrow, Leon Balogun felt something at the end of the match - he didn't train today. It is about making the choices tomorrow on who needs to start after a quick turnaround."

Hamza Igamane, meanwhile, is a man fans have been desperate to see unleashed and Clement teased he may be close to a debut. The same goes for Clinton Nsiala who is in full training. Clement went on: "Hamza is doing parts of training now, step-by-step he is reaching the physical levels we need. He is showing a lot of interesting things with the ball and starting to learn the language. Clinton Nsiala is in full training."

Clement also addressed the situation surrounding Jack Butland who has been linked with a move away this window but remains focused on success at Rangers. He has new competition in the form of Liam Kelly and Clement said: "It is important players with the quality of Jack (Butland) want to stay, he feels what is going on inside the building and how we are evolving in every sense.
