BAFTA TV Awards 2024 hosts and who is presenting the awards

The best in television will be celebrated at the star-studded BAFTA TV Awards 2024 on Sunday night. A host of famous faces from screen will attend the ceremony which is taking place at London's Royal Festival Hall.

Awards will be handed out in categories including best drama series, entertainment, leading actor and actress, scripted comedy, soap and sports coverage.

Among those fighting it out for the top prize are Happy Valley, The Gold and Top Boy who are all nominated for best drama. The final series of Netflix’s royal drama The Crown is also in the running for a string of prizes.

Baroness Floella Benjamin will also will receive the Bafta Fellowship at this year’s awards. The beloved children’s TV presenter, 74, known to millions of Britons as the host of BBC children’s TV shows Play School and Play Away, is being honoured for her “tireless support of children and young people”, and “for her unwavering championing of diversity”
