Baby Reindeer's 'real-life Martha' interviewed by Piers Morgan on Netflix show - what we learned

In her first bombshell broadcast interview, Baby Reindeer's 'real-life' Martha sat down with TV's Piers Morgan to 'set the record straight' on the story that has caught the eyes of the world.

In the drama series, inspired by the experiences of comedian and writer Richard Gadd, his character Donny is stalked by a woman called Martha after he serves her a free cup of tea in the pub where he works.

Fiona Harvey, 58, the woman now believed to be the inspiration behind the character Martha in the hit Netflix series, said she had been 'forced' into doing the interview on Piers Morgan: Uncensored after being contacted by 'online sleuths' and sent death threats.

Following its release viewers have been attempting track down the real Martha. Ms Harvey has come forward as the inspiration behind the character and said: "He's come up with this character called Martha and he has put me right in the frame."

Here's what we learned from the hour-long interview, which was streamed on YouTube on Thursday night (May 9)...

Piers Morgan questioned whether Fiona Harvey had sent Richard Gadd over 40,000 emails, 350 hours of voice messages, 744 tweets, 48 Facebook messages and 106 letters.

She denied sending him the alleged 41,000 emails sent to Gadd, some of which were shown in the show, adding: "It's simply not true."

She added: "If somebody was sending somebody 41,000 emails or something, they’d be doing how many a day? Lots. How many would that take somebody to type up?" Pressed on where this information came from, she replied: "I've no idea."

She later said she sent him 'a few emails' and approximated 'less than 10' when questioned
