Ava White screamed 'I've been stabbed' to friend before falling to ground, court hears
Twelve-year-old Ava White screamed "I've been stabbed " to her friend before falling to the ground in a road in Liverpool city centre, a court heard.
Ava sadly passed away after she was stabbed by a 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, during the evening of November 25, 2021, on School Lane in Liverpool city centre. The boy, who is known as Boy A in the case, denies murder and manslaughter, but accepts responsibility for her fatal injury - telling the court that he acted in self-defence.

The court had already heard how the friends were in town at the time and been drinking vodka and messing about near St John’s Shopping Centre, Liverpool Echo reports.

Boy J said he went to speak to two other mates who were slightly away from the argument, so did not witness it, but told the police he was later told it was down to the videos. The court then heard how Boy J walked with Ava and her other friends across Church Street, away from Williamson Square.
The court heard that at this point he and another friend dropped back slightly and he was still around the corner on
