Australian Grand Prix 2022 time in UK, F1 race dates, TV channel and live stream

F1 is back for the third race of the 2022 season this weekend and fans will be looking forward to the next chapter in what has begun in captivating fashion. After drama in the first race in Bahrain where both Red Bulls suffered power failures, handing Ferrari a 1-2 finish under the lights with Charles Leclerc enjoying a first victory since 2019 for the prancing horse.

Race two in Saudi Arabia saw more drama as polesitter Sergio Perez lost the lead due to a badly timed safety car before his teammate Max Verstappen roared back from a poor fourth start on the grid to overtake Leclerc, denying the Monegasque successive victories. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton was a disappointed driver in tenth position.

Now we move onto a new continent, with Australia shaping up to host a Grand Prix for the first time since 2020's race weekend was scuppered with the entire paddock ready to go at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. There is a new track layout at the famous Albert Park circuit with four DRS zones meaning that there will be plenty of overtaking opportunities in the race on Sunday.
