How to watch Australian Grand Prix 2022 on TV in the UAE

The 2022 Formula One season is under way and it looks like Ferrari will be the team to beat this year after a strong start.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc claimed pole for Sunday's Australian Grand Prix ahead of title rival Max Verstappen, breaking Lewis Hamilton's stranglehold on the Melbourne grid.

It is a second pole of the year for Leclerc after the season-opening race in Bahrain, where he also took the chequered flag.

He knocked out his rivals with a flying lap at the death of one minute 17.868 on Saturday, just ahead of Red Bull's world champion Verstappen, who was victorious in Saudi Arabia two weeks ago.

There was a glimmer of hope for Mercedes, who have struggled with their car so far. Hamilton, whose run of six consecutive poles at Albert Park was broken, will start fifth ahead of sixth-placed teammate George Russell. It was a major improvement for Hamilton, who only qualified 16th in Jeddah.

Formula One fans have a lot to look forward to on Sunday when the race begins at Albert Park in Melbourne.

The Australian Grand Prix 2022 starts on Sunday, April 10, from 9am UAE time.
