Atletico Madrid injury tracker for Celtic as Samuel Lino OUT and one more star faces Champions League race

Diego Simeone will reportedly be without Brazilian winger Samuel Lino when Atletico Madrid face off against Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers men face a huge test when they face the in-form La Liga side in the Champions League group stage clash - with the Scottish Premiership side looking to secure their first points of the competition. Simeone's side come into the game off the back of their sixth win in a row in all competitions with a 3-0 victory against 10-man Celta Vigo at the weekend.

But they have been dealt a blow with wide man Lino reportedly set to miss the game through a knee injury. And reports in Madrid claim that Argentine star Angel Correa is also tough-and-go for the clash at Celtic Park. Spanish outlet MAS report that Lino's sprain is of a "moderate" degree but it is "certain" for the showdown in Glasgow's east end.

World Cup winner Correa is said to have suffered a "minor sprain". It leaves him facing a race against the clock to prove his fitness before Wednesday.
