Aston Villa beat Brentford in secret friendly as new signings get chance to impress

Aston Villa played out a 2-1 win over Brentford in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Villa Park this afternoon.

Ollie Watkins and Tyrone Mings got the goals for Steven Gerrard's side, with new recruits Robin Olsen and Calum Chambers making their Villa Park "debuts".

After the break, it was Chukwuemeka who was at it again - this time teeing up substitute Watkins on 56
