Asda customers warned of recall for sauce which 'could cause illness'

Supermarket giant Asda has issued a warning withdrawing a batch of sauce from its shelves. Asda has recalled a single date code batch of its Asda White Lasagne Sauce 480g, following a ‘production fault’.

Customers are being warned the item has “potential for microbiological growth which could cause illness if this product is consumed.” Affected jars of the sauce will have the best before date 03/02/2024, and barcode 505407064998, Liverpool Echo reports.
