Arsenal vs Liverpool pitch invader tries to HANDCUFF himself to goalpost leaving Premier League fans baffled
Arsenal's match against Liverpool was briefly halted by referee Andre Marriner when a fan ran on in an apparent attempt to handcuff himself to the goalposts.
The Emirates was reeling after Jurgen Klopp's side scored their opening goal through Diogo Jota, who was then substituted.
And minutes later came bizarre scenes that left viewers at home mystified.
Sky Sports commentator Martin Tyler and sidekick Gary Neville were also baffled as they tried to talk those watching on through what was going on.
Premier League fans took to social media to check with each other that they'd really just witnessed.
One wrote on Twitter: "Someone's tried to handcuff himself to the goalpost??? What am I hearing."
An Arsenal fan was unimpressed by Aaron Ramsdale's meek attempt at stopping the opening goal at his near post as he quipped: "Ramsdale should of tied himself to the goalpost still be 0-0."
The game was promptly restarted after stewards led the pitch invader away.
And it didn't take long before Liverpool extended their lead as Scotland star Andy Robertson set up Roberto Firmino for number two.
