Arsenal predicted XI vs Leicester City as Lacazette eyes start

It's two days of recovery for Leicester City before they take on in-form Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (4:30pm kick-off).

Brendan Rodgers and his players will be bouncing into the game off the back of two straight victories and as many clean sheets after seeing off Burnley and Leeds United before a win over Rennes in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.

The Gunners will be looking to make it five wins out of five for the first time in Mikel Arteta's tenure in charge as they close in on a Champions League finish.

But for that, it is vital that the Spaniard gets his team selection right.

Given the Gunners' positive results recently, Arteta is likely to maintain the same starting XI that has thrived in recent weeks.

Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard should retain their places in midfield with the Norwegian being in unstoppable form.

Granit Xhaka, who has been playing in a role that is clearly out of his comfort zone, has responded well to the challenge and should be granted another start.

With Alexandre Lacazette set to return after suffering with a bruised ankle, he should line up alongside Bukayo Saka.

While Emile Smith Rowe's return to the squad may see him start on the substitutes bench with Gabriel Martinelli keeping his spot on the left.

Ramsdale, Cedric, Gabriel, White, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Lacazette.
