Arsenal legend Jens Lehmann reportedly 'chainsaws' neighbour's garage

Jens Lehmann reportedly took a chainsaw to his neighbour’s garage because it blocked his view of Lake Starnberg.

German outlet, Bild, report the former Arsenal goalkeeper has a long-running feud with his neighbour’s regarding their property.

And Lehmann took that feud a step too far recently.

He was reportedly unhappy that a new garage blocks his view of the stunning Lake Starnberg in Bavaria.

Lehmann has owned a property by the lake for 15 years, buying it for around £4.2million in 2007 while he played for Arsenal.

Just looking at the images of the lake, you can understand why Lehmann likes it there.

But deny him a view of the lake and you’ll see the crazy side of Lehmann.

The crazy reports suggest the 52-year-old went next door with a chainsaw and “severed the roof beams” of the garage. He also attempted to switch off a surveillance camera to go undetected.

If he has a long-running feud with the neighbour, we reckon he would have been a suspect anyway.

In a ‘frenzy of rage’, Lehmann caused hundreds of pounds of damage with the chainsaw on the garage that he claims is also built on his land.

The police were called to Lehmann’s house and are now investigating whether he was responsible for THREE other cases of vandalism worth more than £8,500.

Lehmann has previously reported his neighbours for “property damage and coercion”.

Earlier this year, Lehmann was sacked from Hertha Berlin’s supervisory board after referring to the German television pundit Dennis Aogo as “a token black guy” in a WhatsApp message.

“In a private message from my mobile phone to Dennis Aogo, an impression was created for which I apologised in conversation
