Arsenal drop further Gabriel Jesus hint as Man City striker appears on club shop

On Monday, Gabriel Jesus was spotted at a London hospital with Arsenal's sporting director, and on Thursday, a 'leaked' video appeared online showing the Manchester City striker at the Emirates Stadium in a Gunners shirt.

As Jesus' £45million transfer from City to Arsenal draws closer, it seems like the only reason the move has not been formally announced yet is because of the small details surrounding such a big transfer before it's finalised.

One of those details would be having Jesus' new shirt available to purchase for excited Arsenal fans —and now fans think they have seen another huge hint that an announcement is coming. That is because for a short period on Friday, Arsenal fans could choose to personalise their new Arsenal shirt with Jesus' name and number.

Jesus is set to wear the number nine shirt at Arsenal, having worn the same number at City in recent years. The 'leaked' video from the Emirates this week showed the Brazilian wearing a 'G.JESUS 9' shirt — and that was the option available on Arsenal's online store on Friday.

Spotted by the Mirror, fans could select Jesus' name on a drop-down menu alongside other first teamers from the men's and women's sides, listed in alphabetical order.

With every hint of this kind, Jesus' time at City looks to be over after five successful seasons at the club, where he scored 95 goals in 236 appearances. He will link up with former City coach Mikel Arteta, where he will hope to get assurances over regular playing time at Arsenal, which could not be guaranteed at City after Erling Haaland's arrival.
