Arsenal and Leicester City '£5 million apart' in Youri Tielemans transfer saga

Leicester City reportedly value midfielder Youri Tielemans at £5 million more than Arsenal do as the summer's transfer saga goes on.

The 25-year-old continues to be linked with a move to north London during the current transfer window after entering the final 12 months of his contract at the King Power Stadium. Tielemans has also been linked with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks.

Arsenal are, though the club most relentlessly rumoured with adding the City playmaker to their midfield. That is despite already signing Fábio Vieira from Porto for an initial £30 million reported transfer fee.

They are now also being linked with Manchester City 's Oleksandr Zinchenko, which 'could spell disappointment' for Tielemans, according to CBS Sports . It is reiterated in their reporting that the player wants the move to the capital and that, while the clubs are 'only around £5 million apart' in the figures they value Tielemans at, Arsenal 'have not made any move'.

Tielemans recently joined up with the City squad for their pre-season camp in Evian, France, and could feature against OH Leuven in the club's second friendly of the summer. If not, then next week's return to England when Hull City and Derby County are lined up as opponents may be more realistic for the midfielder who was on international duty just last month.
