Antony gets tattoo of himself as Man United winger pays tribute to iconic moment under Erik ten Hag

Manchester United winger Antony has received an incredible tattoo of himself celebrating scoring for Ajax on his back.

The Brazilian winger was pictured on Instagram by tattoo artist Bruno Lopes who was recreating the iconic image of Antony celebrating in Amsterdam after scoring a late winner against rivals Feyenoord in the Eredivisie in 2022, a result that proved crucial to winning the title by two points under Erik ten Hag. Lopes' work covers the entirety of the 24-year-old's back and also pays tribute to the forward's roots. Antony has made no secret about his difficult upbringing in Brazil where he was born in the 'Favela'. In a nod to that part of his life, the tattoo portrays the United man overlooking the urban area which he used to call home.
