Manchester United are gearing up for a busy summer in the transfer market - regardless of whether they secure Champions League football next season.

Ruben Amorim is keen for a busy summer of incomings to try and mould the team more into his image and bring in players who are comfortable playing in his 3-4-2-1 formation.

His cause will be massively helped if United have Champions League football next season as a tool to tempt potential new signings to move to Old Trafford, as well as the extra riches it will give to United's transfer budget.

That completely rests on next week's Europa League final against Tottenham will see United qualify for next season's Champions League - despite a dreadful Premier League campaign.
