Antonio Conte made some admissions after Inter Milan's exit from the Champions Legaue which may provide Tottenham fans with some hope after their recent hardship.

Conte has won league titles with Chelsea, Juventus and Inter Milan and his success with the latter was just last season, before he made the move to N17 in November.

Although Inter topped the table in Serie A, they were knocked out of the European competition after finishing bottom of their group.

Now the 52-year-old has made the move back to the capital but is so far struggling to find the same success with his new side.

Spurs are currently eighth in the Premier League but after their recent defeats to Southampton, Wolves and Burnley, the fourth spot they have been aiming for is quickly becoming out of their reach.

After Tottenham's thrilling 3-2 victory over Man City, their trip to Turf Moor failed to live up to that result and Conte's side lost 1-0.
