Anthony Joshua's next fight: Eddie Hearn explains timeline for return
Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has given his thoughts on when Anthony Joshua could return to the boxing ring.
Ever since his loss to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia last month, Anthony Joshua has been faced with plenty of questions regarding his immediate future in the sport.
He’s now been beaten twice by the exceptional Ukrainian and as a result of such a notable defeat, his chances of working his way back to a major title shot had been heavily damaged.
That was, of course, until his rival Tyson Fury appeared to offer him a pretty notable lifeline.

Fury suggested to Joshua that the two British juggernauts finally square off in a superfight that the world had been waiting years to see.
Alas, the talks eventually fell through, meaning that fans will continue to wait and pray that we one day get to see the pair collide.
The attention then turned back onto Joshua and what his next move would be, and according to Eddie Hearn, there’s still a chance he could get back into the squared circle before the end of the year.
"Really now it’s up to AJ to see if he goes on December 17 or waits until January or February, the decision hasn’t been made yet.
