Ant McPartlin welcomes baby with wife Anne-Marie Corbett as he shares unique name and first picture

Ant McPartlin has announced the birth of his first child. The TV star and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett have welcomed their first child together three years after tying the knot.

The post announcing the joyous news was shared on the official Instagram account of Ant and his presenting partner Dec Donnelly and featured the first details about the little one.

"Welcome to the family Wilder Patrick McPartlin," Ant wrote. "Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess!"

The couple's celebrity pals were quick to respond to the news with Davina McCall commenting on the post: "Arggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!! This is AMAZING !!!! Congratulations to ALL of you." Ant is already a stepfather to Anne-Marie's children from her first marriage. The couple hadn't confirmed their pregnancy news but Ant and Anne-Marie had been seen out and about in recent months.

Ant also mentioned his family when he reflected on his decision to take a break from his and Dec's most beloved series, Saturday Night Takeaway, explaining that it was time to prioritise family. Since 2002, Ant and Dec have been the faces of the much-loved Saturday show but after the 20th series earlier this year, they decided to put the show on hold.
