Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall will once again go head-to-head in a rematch this weekend following their controversial first bout over two years ago.

Scotland's Taylor clung on to his status as undisputed light-welterweight world champion back in February 2022 with a shock split-decision victory over Catterall in Glasgow, despite having been knocked down in the eighth round for the first time in his professional career.

As the bell rang, the English challenger appeared to have claimed a staggering upset in Taylor's first defence of his WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO belts but judges Victor Loughlin and Ian John-Lewis both gave the fight to Taylor in a result that sparked an investigation by British boxing authorities.
