Ansu Fati makes future decision amid Manchester United interest and more transfer rumours

Barcelona winger Ansu Fati is determined to succeed at the Camp Nou amid interest from Manchester United and other European clubs, according to reports in Spain.

Fati has struggled to keep a consistent place in Barcelona's team this season, with just 11 of his 26 La Liga appearances coming from the start. The 20-year-old has fallen behind Gavi - another academy graduate who is two years his junior - in the left-wing pecking order despite producing more goals and assists in just over half the minutes.

His struggles had attracted interest from the likes of United, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich who all sensed an opportunity to lure the Spaniard away from Barcelona. But Mundo Deportivo reports that his desire is to remain in Catalonia and fight for his place.

Agent Jorge Mendes is said to have offered Fati the chance to talk with the above sides, but while the winger was flattered, he made clear his desire to stay at Cam Nou. The report adds that the support of his manager, Xavi, has been key, the former Blaugrana midfielder reassuring his star of a place in the long-term plans of the club.

Elsewhere, Galician outlet Atlantico report that Tottenham are the latest side to join the race for United-linked Gabri Veiga.

Veiga has been a crucial aspect of a successful season for Celta Vigo, with nine goals and four assists in 26 league appearances helping the Galician side into 10th place. The 20-year-old's form has attracted interest from across Europe, with United one of several Premier League sides previously linked alongside Newcastle and Manchester City.
