Another Kieran Tierney to Celtic transfer domino set to fall as Barcelona make Alex Valle decision - with one condition
Barcelona will reportedly allow Alex Valle to join Como - but only if Celtic agree to terminate the full back's loan deal.
The Spain U20 international arrived at Parkhead on a season-long loan deal last summer and has made 18 appearances in total for Brendan Rodgers' side. However, Valle has often played second fiddle to first choice left back Greg Taylor - who is also the subject of interest from several clubs at home and abroad -and earlier this week, it was reported that Serie A newcomers Como are keen on a move for the Barca youth graduate.
Sky Sports claim that the Catalan giants are open to sending the defender to Italy for the remainder of the season, but will only do so if Celtic agree to cut short the loan. Allowing Valle to leave could open the door for a sensational Celtic return for Kieran Tierney, with the Premiership champions currently in talks over a pre-contract agreement with the Arsenal defender that will see him re-join his boyhood club on a free transfer next summer. There has been some suggestion that they could also sign the 27-year-old this month on loan.
However, with two Champions League group games remaining this month, the Hoops are unable to register any potential new signings for the clashes against Young Boys and Aston Villa, so Valle may be required until the end of the window at least. Staying with the Champions League, Rodgers has been handed a big boost ahead of next Wednesday's fixture with Young Boys, with the Swiss side set to field a rookie keeper at Parkhead.
The arrival of new Young Boys boss Giorgio Contini has seen regular stopper David von Ballmoss dropped in favour of 22-year-old Marvin Keller, who previously only had four first team appearances to his name. Celtic know that
