Annan gaffer looking to wreck Stenhousemuir's home rule

Annan player boss Wullie Gibson is looking to wreck Stenhousemuir’s home rule tomorrow when the clubs clash at Ochilview.

He is determined that the Galabankies bounce back after their 1-0 home loss last weekend against Alloa.

But Gibson stressed it will be a difficult task given the Warriors’ home form.

He said: “Gary Naysmith is a good manager and he will have them well drilled.

“They have won a lot of games at home so they are have good form and we know it is going to be a difficult game.

“It is another game for us and I expect us to go there with the right mentality and try and win the game.”

Gibson said of the League Two title chase: “I don’t think anyone will run away with it this season and that it will be very competitive.

“There is not a team like Falkirk this year unless someone really surprises me.

“So we just need to win as many games as possible.

“I am happy with the squad I have assembled but I would still like another couple of players. We are looking to add.”

Meanwhile, defender Ryan Muir insists the Galabankies face another tough tussle when they tangle with Stenny tomorrow.

He said: “The boys were gutted at losing to Alloa, especially after our start to the season, but we move on.

“It is another tough game and I think every game in the league is difficult wherever you go because it is different challenges.

“But we know we believe in ourselves in that changing room and that we can take on any team and have showed that already this year so we are going to be looking for a reaction.

“People can probably see we are playing more football this season and getting the ball on the ground.
