Angry Goodison Park atmosphere to become unbearable as Everton fans plan Chelsea response

Looking at the weather forecast for Sunday at Goodison Park might not have been the most promising. But a bit of rain isn't about to dampen the atmosphere Everton fans are desperate to create this weekend.

Everybody knows that this run of three home matches between now and the end of the campaign is particularly crucial. The Blues have relied on their home form throughout the majority of the term so far, and there's been little evidence to suggest that might change any time soon.

And so, Evertonians are desperate for no doubt to be left about those last trio of matches at Goodison this term. Create the best atmosphere as possible, get right behind the team and see where that can get them.

Blues are making a concerted effort to encourage everyone to get around the ground as early as they possibly can this weekend. It's not just about inside the stadium, the whole mood begins from the close-knit streets around it.

The Winslow Pub is opening its doors as early as 10am, ahead of the 2pm kick off, to try and welcome as many supporters as they can in those hours in the build-up. They, and all pubs in and around the ground, will hope that they can help create the best mood possible.

The big movement over recent days has been to encourage supporters to welcome the coach to the stadium, with a planned route being shown on one certain tweet and an estimated time of 12pm for the arrival of the players.

Flags, banners and loud singing voices are all being encouraged by numerous groups of supporters, the club themselves and the Fans' Forum. The latter remarked: "Bring your banners. Bring your flags. Bring your voices.
