Ange will NEVER ditch Celtic formula at Tottenham as Chris Sutton insists he's shown the balls Mikel Arteta lacked

Chris Sutton has warned Ange Postecoglou will NOT change his 'Ange-ball' style as it is a winning formula - as proved at Celtic.

The former Hoops boss guided Tottenham to a fifth place finish in the English Premier League in his first season in the bid time and with that booked Europa League football for the North London outfit this term. Last campaign it was all about domestic matters with Spurs not involved on the European stage, but this season the 58-year-old will have to juggle commitments as he kicks off his second season in the dugout.

Celtic favourite Sutton insists his philosophy will only improve with time and he has hailed it as one of the most entertaining styles. His no fear approach is one that the pundit has told supporters they'd be MAD to think is going anywhere. He told the Daily Mail: "Will Ange Postecoglou change his attacking philosophy? Will he heck! It took Tottenham to fifth place in the Premier League in his first season and will only improve with time. ‘Ange-ball’ is one of the most entertaining football styles.

"It was refreshing to see someone have the balls to take on Manchester City without the fear that, say, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal showed when they went to the Etihad Stadium. You’d be mad to think that Postecoglou is about to change his approach. It is a winning one, as the Aussie proved in his time at Celtic."

As part of his predictions for the EPL season ahead, he offered a grim outcome for Erik ten Hag insisting he would NOT be surprised if he was axed by Christmas.
