Ange Postecoglou's Celtic press conference in full as he hits out at Aberdeen buzzkills with hilarious 'champagne' quip

Ange Postecoglou admits Celtic 's last trip to Pittodrie was a turning point for his side as they put a long-standing away drought to bed.

But the Aussie insists his team weren't getting the champagne out after Jota 's late winner - they were just celebrating a hard-earned victory on the road.

Premiership leaders Celtic travel to Aberdeen on Wednesday for the first time since October when they battled to a 2-1 victory.

It was their first league win on the road since February 2021 and looking back it was the start of things picking up for Postecoglou's Hoops.

At the time they trailed Rangers by six points, but they've won 15 of their 17 Premiership games since and go into Wednesday's round of fixtures top of the tree.

And while Postecoglou would welcome more cause for celebration this time out, he insists there was nothing over-the-top about the jubilant scenes that followed their last visit.

He said: "Yeah it was a tough game. I'm not great at these things, I think my braincells are slowly disappearing so memory fades.

"But we hadn't won away for quite a while, preceding my time, so to win away from home was important for us.
