Ange Postecoglou ready for £100m Tottenham transfer splurge while Celtic philosophy helps see off Saudi mega offer

Ange Postecoglou is set to be handed a NINE-figure war chest in his first summer as Tottenham manager.

The Australian has left Celtic for Spurs and is now assessing his options as he looks to get them back into Premier League top four territory. And it's claimed that he is after Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba as one of his key targets, but the Evening Standard state he will need to cough up a 'huge' bid of around £61m to beat rivals Arsenal to his services.

Another big fee is needed if he wants to take James Maddison away from relegated Leicester City, with Sky claiming the Foxes have slapped a price tag in excess of £50m on the England international's head.
