Ange Postecoglou in emotional Celtic title reaction as triumphant boss 'lost for words'

Ange Postecoglou was beaming with pride after his Celtic team secured the Premiership title at Tannadice.

The Australian arrived in the summer with the club in disarray and an indifferent early run suggested the Parkhead faithful were going to have to wait another season for title glory.

But they have stormed it since Christmas with a 31-match unbeaten run sealing the title in style.

They had to wait to secure it mathematically but a 1-1 draw with Dundee United was enough to get it over the line.

And Postecoglou couldn't hide his emotions as he spoke to Sky Sports after the game.

He said: "It's pretty special mate. For the first time this year, I'm lost for words.

"It's an enormous effort, I'm really proud of the players, the staff, our supporters, everyone involved.

"We weren't given much of a chance at the start of the year and to do what they've done this year and achieve the ultimate is an unbelievable effort.

"It's massive. The fans had a tough year last year, not just that we didn't win anything but they couldn't do this, they couldn't come and support their team.

"They've been right behind us from day one and I couldn't be happier.

"I think our football has been outstanding but the character this team has shown through the last 31 games to rise to every challenge, I couldn't be more proud of them."

Dylan Levitt's strike cancelled out Giorgos Giakoumakis' opener on the night and it threatened to keep Celtic waiting another week to seal the trophy.

But they held their nerve to get the point they needed and Postecoglou was delighted they "got the job done."

He went on: "This evening it was a bit nervy. It's only natural. These guys have had their head down and been so narrow-minded about being successful, so when
