Ange Postecoglou insists Celtic tactics won't change for Champions League as he claims 'I've never owned a bus, mate'

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has vowed to stay true to his footballing philosophy ahead of the Hoops' return to the Champions League.

The newly-crowned Premiership champions will be back at European football's top table next season after reclaiming the Premiership title and are set to come against the some of the best teams in world football.

However, the daunting prospect of taking on the continent's elite seems to have left Postecoglou unfazed, with the Hoops boss insisting he won't be parking the bus in next season's group stages.

When asked if he'll be tempted to resort to a more defensive style against world class opposition, the Celtic boss explained: "I've never owned a bus, mate.

"I'm sure there'll be - as there has in my whole career - people telling me I need to adjust my approach and temper my aggression.

"I've done pretty well just sticking to it, to be fair, so I'll just keep going."

After qualifying for the group stage for the first time since 2017/18, Celtic will find out their initial three Champions League opponents when the draw takes place in Nyon on August 25.
