Ange Postecoglou dished out a brutal death stare during an angry confrontation with a fan as tensions flared after Tottenham's latest flop.

However, he was clearly miffed after overhearing shouts from fuming diehards who accused the Australian of dragging them closer to the bottom three, with one shouting, "You're going to take us down! We're going down with you!"

Despite initially ignoring the tirade and marching on, the 59-year-old astonishingly backtracked and gazed up at the fan. The tense moment lingered as Postecoglou stood under the weight of the punter's frustration before being ushered away by Tottenham staff. The Hoops Treble-winner didn't get involved in a war of words but was clearly unhappy with the abuse aimed at him.
