Ange Postecoglou demands perfect Celtic finish to leave Rangers in their dust as boss hints at major chance for Oh

Kyogo Furuhashi is ready as Celtic look to step closer to the title.

And boss Ange Postecoglou insists he’s not worried about outside forecasts as constantly winning will 100 percent guarantee his side the trophy. Kyogo has offered a huge boost to the champions by being ready for Saturday’s clash against Aberdeen as well as next weekend’s Viaplay Cup Final against Rangers.

The Japanese international sustained a shoulder injury during last weekend’s Scottish Cup tie against St Mirren. However, Kyogo is “fine” as Postecoglou confirmed: “Last year he had a similar thing and I think he missed one training session. We knew it wasn’t anything serious. He did some rehab earlier in the week, but he’s trained the last two days and is ready to go.” Celtic go into the Dons clash with a nine-point league lead and Rangers boss Michael Beale has confessed “the probability is low” of his team making up that deficit.

But Postecoglou is paying no heed to any outside predictions as he said: “We’ve got to win. That’s all. If we win all of our games, we don’t have to worry about anything else or anyone else or what anyone else is saying or forecasting in terms of percentages.

“If we win every game between now and the end of the year, here’s a percentage for you. 100 per cent we will win the league. So why would we think beyond that? For us, beating Aberdeen gets us three points and if we get those three points we know where we’re going to be sitting in the table. I’ve said before that my role in all of that is that we want to finish the season strong. Stronger than how we started.”

Today’s game is the last before next Sunday’s Hampden showdown against Rangers, but Postecoglou says no-one will think of the National Stadium against the Reds.
