Having sealed a £300k move to Celtic last summer, Liam Shaw’s career at Parkhead got off to something of a slow start.
Indeed, the 20-year-old went on to make just two appearances for Ange Postecoglou’s side in the first half of the season, playing nine minutes of the 0-0 draw with St. Mirren towards the end of December, and making his Europa League debut in the 3-2 win over Real Betis earlier the same month.

“You can see why he’s been highly thought of down at Sheffield Wednesday and you can see why Celtic have brought him up. Hopefully he makes an impact in the second half of the season. He looks a good player and I am looking forward to seeing him in action.”
