Ange airbrushes Celtic from his history as Tottenham becomes HIS club in roaring Spurs global address

Motivated Ange Postecoglou has shown he's all-in on Spurs as he accentuated the "we" and "ours" in an impassioned address to Tottenham fans across the globe.

The former Celtic boss enjoyed a strong connection with Parkhead punters but he is now solely focused on his major rebuild job in N17 after swapping Glasgow for a crack in the English Premier League. He is aiming to learn from the errors of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte by making clear he is with the Tottenham public as he strives to correct the errors of a season to forget. But the personal terms he used in the interview are likely a gut punch to a Celtic fanbase who regarded the 57-year-old as one of their own up until a fortnight ago. And Postecoglou reckons a trip back to his homeland will be the perfect tonic for Tottenham to usher in the age of Angeball in north London.

Speaking to Optus Sport on beIN SPORTS Australia, he said: "Yeah, it's vital, particularly I think with a new manager coming in, myself coming in, and that gives me the time with the players and there will be new staff in as well, where we could all sort of begin to embed the kind of values and football WE want to play. Also we get to spend a lot of time together, which I think is a good thing because as much as anything else, we get to know each other as people. So it's vital to our season ahead."

Postecoglou returned to his homeland last winter with Celtic but he's heading back Down Under with Spurs and admits the trip has worked out perfect for him. But the former Celtic boss has underlined the serious nature of getting Spurs on track.
