Andy Yiadom makes Reading FC statement for Millwall fixture after beating Middlesbrough

Andy Yiadom says getting another three points was all that mattered for Reading after the Royals' 1-0 win against Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Reading claimed a third win in five Championship games so far as they won for the second time in three days at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, following up a 3-0 success against Blackburn Rovers last Wednesday with another clean sheet against the Teessiders, with Tyrese Fornah's fine strike proving to be the difference between the two sides on Saturday.

The win lifted Reading above Blackburn on goal difference and into third position after five games of the new campaign, with Royals having three wins and two defeats to their name so far, having a 100 per cent record at home in the league. Paul Ince's men have, however, lost both games on the road so far this season against Blackpool and Rotherham United, with Reading
