Andy Murray vs Alexander Bublik: ATP Rotterdam 2022 live stream, TV channel, UK start time, h2h

Andy Murray returns to action at the Rotterdam Open, his first tournament since being knocked out of the Australian Open.

It was a positive start to the year for Murray, reaching the final in Sydney and then winning his first match in Melbourne against Nikoloz Basilashvili. But the Brit was unable to back that performance up, as he lost in straight sets to Taro Daniel in the second round.

He has accepted a wildcard in Rotterdam, a tournament he won in 2009. It’s a strong field in attendance, with six of the world’s top 20 players including Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev featuring in the draw.

Murray has announced he will be skipping the clay-court season, instead focusing on hard-court tournaments before turning his attention to the grass.

He has a tricky match first up in Rotterdam against Alexander Bublik, who will be full of confidence after lifting the trophy in Montpellier last week. The 24-year-old beat Alexander Zverev in straight sets in the final to win his first ATP singles title.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Murray vs Bublik this week...

The round of 32 match between Andy Murray and Alexander Bublik will take place on Wednesday, February 9. The pair are expected to take to the court at approximately 6:30pm GMT.

The pair have met just once before, in the first round at Wimbledon in 2017. It was Murray who came through comfortably that day, winning 6-1 6-4 6-2 on Centre Court.
