Andre Ramalho makes bold Rangers assumption AGAIN as cocky PSV star's 'deserve it' claim threatens to bite twice

Andre Ramalho was left eating humble pie last season as Rangers booked Champions League progression - and the confident Brazilian could be left doing so again if PSV don't win their two-legged rematch.

Confidence was high in the Dutch ranks last season after a 2-2 draw with Gio van Bronckhorst's side at Ibrox, but an Antonio Colak effort sealed a 1-0 play-off second leg win in Eindhoven and group stage spot for Rangers. Now the side from the Netherlands are parroting messages of revenge as they prepare for another showdown in this year's play-offs.

Michael Beale's men have made it through with a 3-2 aggregate win over Servette but PSV's storming 7-2 success over Sturm Graz puts them as favourites in the eyes of some for this year's edition. Defender Ramalho spoke of his side's buoyant hopes after victory over Sturm Graz: "We have to prepare ourselves well for these two very important games. We want it so bad. We really want to be in the Champions League again and hopefully we can do that. We have a good team and quality in us for that.

"Let's prepare ourselves very good because I think we deserve to be in the Champions League. That is our main goal and we will give everything for that."
