Manchester United players have taken to social media following their dramatic 2-1 win over Manchester City to rub salt into the wounds of their fierce rivals.

Amad turned the encounter on its head with key contributions late on winning the penalty for Bruno Fernandes' equaliser before ghosting in behind to complete the comeback in stoppage time. The triumph helped Ruben Amorim's side up the table and moved them to within six points of the top four.

Defeat for City compounded a miserable run for Pep Guardiola as the late comeback meant that the reigning champions have just one of their last 11 outings.
