Man United players make true feelings clear on Marcus Rashford return after Newcastle decision
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford returned to the squad after being left in the cold in recent games.
Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte are among the England international's teammates to have liked a post from the official club account - after he was pictured arriving at Old Trafford for their Premier League showdown with Newcastle United.
Head coach Ruben Amorim took the bold decision to drop the 27-year-old from the matchday squad for a clash with Manchester City following the Europa League win over Viktoria Plzen. Rashford was one of two high-profile absentees with Alejandro Garnacho also dropped.
However, Rashford celebrated the comeback win over their rivals with a post on Instagram after Bruno Fernandes and Amad were on target during the 2-1 triumph. He was included in the squad for the Magpies trip to Old Trafford and before kick-off, the official Instagram account lead with a picture of the Academy graduate arriving.
Captioned: "Sunset views at Old Trafford," Maguire, Martinez and Ugarte were among the first-teamers to show support to the post. The Uruguayan was side-lined for that clash, as United looked to end the calendar year on a high, after picking up his fifth booking of the season during their 2-0 defeat away at Wolves on Boxing Day.
Amorim has been blunt in explanation about Rashford's recent exclusions, he said: "When I feel that it is the right moment I will change something, until then I will continue to think about what is the best for the team.
"I speak with him every day, not about the interview, but about performance.
"It's my decision. He wants to play. He's trying. It's my decision, it's only my decision.
"I'm trying to do things my way. And it's the only way I know,
