Barber Joshua Santiago has been receiving kudos left and right on social media for his latest stunning makeover.

Joshua, a wizard with the shears, lends a helping hand to improve many lives through their appearance. His innovative project, Empowering Cuts, is centred around a mobile barbershop that delivers free haircuts to the homeless.

The TikTok sensation, hailing from Philadelphia with a whopping 493,000 followers, makes regular trips to the Kensington area in the US to reach out to those in dire straits. In a recent video, he featured a heartwarming encounter with a man he met on the streets.

The footage begins with the words: "I can't stop smiling," followed by the shirtless gentleman admiring his new look in the mirror, full of gratitude towards Joshua for his generosity.

But it's only seconds later the viewers get a glimpse of the man's pre-cut condition. Soon afterwards, Joshua doesn't just give the man a haircut – he provides a complete wardrobe transformation as well.

His post, captioned with: "Sometimes all it takes is a smile to remind someone they're not alone." The video has amassed 9,500 likes and over 200 comments since its debut.
