Amazon shoppers adore ‘lovely’ garden fire pit that’s £25 cheaper than Aldi’s

It’s not often that other retailers will beat budget supermarket, Aldi, on price - but Amazon just did. Perfect for summer gatherings, Amazon is selling an outdoor fire pit that’s £25 cheaper than an Aldi SpecialBuy.

Now that outdoor gatherings with family and friends are once again back on the cards post-Covid restrictions, the garden gadget is a must have for summer barbecues and parties.

The £65.99 Amazon buy is a three-in-one wood burning fire pit table with a mesh screen lid which can be used for keeping warm and cooking barbecue food.

One shopper managed to bag theirs for £55 in the sale, sharing the new piece of kit to the Facebook group ‘Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group’. It’s since gone up in price by £10.99, but still a snip of the price of Aldi’s Gardenline Square Fire Pit.

The Amazon description reads: “The outdoor fire pit is made of high-quality steel frame, heat-resistant fire bowl, four metal legs and safety mesh cover. With weather resistant, large load-bearing capacity, long-lasting durability and rustproof features, this kind of wood burning fire pit is very sturdy and durable.”

Not only can it be used as a fire pit, but also as a brazier, ice bucket and 32 inch dining table. It’s suggested to be suitable for four to eight people to use, and shoppers say it’s easy to assemble.

One customer wrote: “Very easy to assemble, bigger than expected which I was very happy with, great value for the money, very happy with this product and would recommended.”

Another added: “Excellent for the price, value for money and looks lovely.”
