'Amazon's 'wonder' spray claimed to clear mould that won't budge in 60 seconds - it's the best £5 I've spent'

Damp and mould are two problems that can occur in any home. It doesn't matter where you live or how old your property is, this time of year gives mould the perfect opportunity to build up inside your living space.

Cold temperature leads to condensation on windows, walls and ceilings, and drying clothes inside instead of on the line only adds to the amount of moisture. Bathrooms can also prove even more tricky, if you don't have adequate insulation.

Even if you have an extractor fan, or remember to open to windows after baths and showers, you can still end up with patches of the stuff. That's what had happened in my bathroom over recent months and it was gradually getting worse. I'd tried the odd spray on it, yet nothing seemed to clear it completely. But then I came across the HG Mould Spray on Amazon and decided to give it a whirl.

Suitable for tiles, silicon joints and plasterwork it was ideal for tackling the areas I'd struggled to shift it, mostly around the coving. But one spray of this stuff cleared it completely. Even though it suggests leaving on for 30 minutes, I didn't leave it on long at all, as I didn't want it dripping down the walls.

I sprayed it, left for a minute, wiped with a sponge and it had gone. That was a few weeks ago now and there's no sign of any coming back just yet. When it does, I've got plenty left to use. A 500ml bottle of it costs £5.99 but it's currently on offer at Amazon for £5.25, for a limited time.
