Ally McCoist fires Celtic offside dig as Rangers legend tells Alan Brazil 'you're having a laugh'

It wouldn't be a big night of Scottish Premiership action without a big refereeing call to debate now, would it?

The aftermath of Celtic's win over Aberdeen spilled over into Thursday morning after the Dons were left furious with Jota's dramatic winner at Pittodrie.

Stephen Glass' side fought back from two goals down against the league leaders only for the Portuguese to immediate restore Celtic's lead - sparking fury in the home side as they felt Liel Abada had strayed offside and blocked David Bates from challenging Jota.

In typical fashion, Ally McCoist and Alan Brazil offered their typically contrasting views on the incident.

Rangers legend McCoist sucked in his on-air pal with an alternative take - insisting the only question was just how far Abada had gone beyond the Aberdeen backline.

McCoist said on talkSPORT : "They can't make their mind up over whether it was one yard offside, two yards offside or three yards offside. They just can't make their mind up mate, you're having a laugh!

"Not only is he offside - he's offside and he interferes with the boy trying to block the tackle."
