Allen Hurns' insane touchdown catch in 2015 remains an all-time NFL London Games moment

Allen Hurns’ touchdown for the Jacksonville Jaguars to help beat the Buffalo Bills in the 2015 NFL London games might be one of the best moments that fans in the UK ever saw. 

The NFL season is slowly creeping towards us, with teams reporting for duty this week as they begin the final stage of preseason workouts within their own teams before games start in a couple of weeks, kicking off, as has become the tradition, with the Hall of Fame game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

And just like the Hall of Fame game, one of the landmarks on the NFL calendar are the international games, which this season sees three games in London, one in Munich and a further one in Mexico City. This season sees the return of the games to Wembley as the Jaguars will be back at their home away from home as they take on the Denver Broncos. 

Tickets for the game at Tottenham went on sale this morning, which means that it’s the perfect time to look back on one of the more memorable games that we have seen this side of the pond.

The Jaguars first announced in 2012 that they were going to become the main tenants for games in London, and beginning with the game in 2013 when they hosted the San Francisco 49ers have played one home game at Wembley since, barring the 2020 season which saw the game canceled due to the pandemic, whilst the 2021 game was played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Their record at Wembley hasn’t been the greatest, as they have played there seven times since the agreement kicked in, and have a record of 3-4 overall. They lost their first two games in blowouts to the 49ers and Dallas Cowboys, but earned their first win in England against the Buffalo Bills in 2015.
