All the roadworks happening in Greater Manchester this week

Road works can be a pain for all those travelling both in and out of the city.

Below is a comprehensive and helpful guide to all the roadworks across Manchester and in your area, to give you a head start in planning your journey and avoiding pit falls.

This is what to expect over the coming week according to Transport for Greater Manchester.

There are currently no planned major roadworks due to take place in Central Manchester this week.

A lane closure will be in place on Ardwick Green South near the tele exchange from 11th - 22nd April. The work is taking place between 8am - 8pm and is being undertaken by SSE Datacom.

A lane closure will be in place at the junction of Wilmslow Road and Kingsway in Manchester from 20th April - 6th May. Times for the work are not specified, the work is being undertaken by Cadent Gas Ltd.
