All the ball carrier moves we hope to see in Madden 23

The build up to the release of Madden 23 has been thrilling. The most anticipated game will make its official debut on 19th August 2022.

With all this hype, many of us are expecting a lot as the developers have shown that the game will be epic. However, we are still unsure about a few things, like ball carrier movements, which ones are coming and will there be any new additions? That’s what this piece is about.

Madden 23 will be officially released on Friday, 19th August 2022, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series, and PC. 

Madden 23 will also be available on mobile and will be released on Thursday, 18th August 2022. The version will be available for download on both iOS and Android. The mobile version will come out before the release of the standard.

At the time of writing this piece no official information has been made available by EA regarding the controls. We do however, think they’ll be the same as previous inserts. If the controls are not the same, we will update this section.

Celebration Run/swag

This is where you can run and do a selection of moves after scoring. You can do these moves while on the field or the end zone. It is advisable that you do these after scoring as you may risk the opponent derailing you.

Madden 22 control: Hold L2

Dead leg

This move made it’s debut in Madden 21. The dead leg means you hesitate a little and finish it off with a juke and continue running. This move will change your direction a little, timing is important here.

Madden 22 control: RS flick down while steering with left stick

Hurdle

This ball carrier move will help you duck a defender by leaping over them and keep running.
