Gloucester v Cardiff Rugby live updates: Kick off time, team news and all the build up to the pre-season clash

Cardiff kick off their pre-season preparations this evening with a trip to face English Premiership side Gloucester.

The Cherry and Whites are at the other end of their preparations as they kick off their league campaign next week, so it will be a stern challenge for Dai Young's side.

The Blue and Blacks have named a youthful side with a number of promising talents on display. Wales internationals, including new signings Liam Williams and Taulupe Faletau are not involved.

Similarly, Louis Rees-Zammit is not in action for the hosts at Kingsholm this evening but it should still be an intriguing affair.
