Alistair Johnston is back in a flash as Celtic see 4 injury fears disappear ahead of blockbuster week

Premiership champions Celtic have received a quadruple injury boost with Alistair Johnston leading the returnees at Lennoxtown after his hamstring complaint.

The Canada international trudged off against the USA but he is back at training and is in the mix to feature against Hearts on Saturday before the blockbuster tie against Slovan Bratislava in the new-look Champions League. And there were more reasons to cheer for those of a green and white persuasion as Greg Taylor and James Forrest were in the mix after missing out with Scotland. Cameron Carter-Vickers was also present after he left the 3-0 win over Rangers in a moon boot.

Brendan Rodgers appears to have a full selection of players at his disposal before under-fire Steven Naismith brings his beleaguered Jambos to Glasgow. Celtic have won four games on the spin to start the Premiership season and are itching to keep the good vibes coming before they duke it out with the Slovakian champions on Wednesday night.
