Alison Hammond distracts ITV This Morning viewers with appearance seconds into latest show

Alison Hammond got viewers talking just seconds into her latest appearance on This Morning. The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Tuesday (October 18) alongside Dermot O'Leary. The programme's usual Friday hosts will be on air all week as they fill in for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

Alison and Dermot confirmed that they'd be keeping viewers entertained every day in their absence during their first appearance of the week on the show on Monday (October 17). Holly and Phillip's half-term absence comes just days after they led This Morning onto the stage to collect their latest National Television Award.

The programme saw off competition from Loose Women, The Chase and The Repair Shop to scoop the gong in the Daytime category at the NTAs for a fifth year in a row. And viewers had the same reaction to the latest change to the show's line-up.

But as the show got underway today, all eyes were on Alison as she dazzled viewers with her latest look. The 47-year-old looked super glam and very smart in a light brown and white dress which she teamed with a matching beige blazer. Her dark locks had been curled into gentle waves.
