Alfredo Morelos turns Neymar autograph hunter as ex Rangers star makes full use of Santos meet and greet

Alfredo Morelos landed a signed Santos top from 'idol' Neymar as he rubbed shoulders with the global superstar.

The former Rangers striker looked set to leave the Brazilian outfit but came to an agreement on a pay cut in order to stay with the club as he bids to shoot them back to the top flight after their relegation last season. It was the first time in the 111-year history of the team that they suffered the drop to Serie B, the second tier league in the county.

Santos are famously known for Brazil great Pele and more recently former Barcelona and PSG star Neymar. It is a club close to the heart of the 32-year-old, who is playing in the Saudi Pro League for Al Hilal but is currently on the sidelines injured. However, he made a trip to watch his former club in action captioning his return on his Instagram stories as 'home' while he also visited the dressing room wearing a Santos shirt with the No 10 on the back. It was at this point Morelos jumped at the chance of a meet and greet with his hero as he posed for pictures with Neymar before presenting him a Santos shirt that the Brazil international signed.
